Zvakanaka farm is 74 hectares in area and the three main vegetation types are grassland, wetland and semi-deciduous scrub-forest. There are numerous trails cut on the farm and, depending on how much energy you want to exert, you can either take gentle strolls or more serious walks to the very top of the mountain where there are stunning views in all directions.

Birders’ Cottages has three self-catering cottages located on a small farm deep in the Magoebaskloof Valley. Each cottage has a bird table and a bird bath.

Antares Bush Camp is a 3-star graded self-catering camp located within the 3000Ha Grietjie section of the Balule Nature Reserve. The most exciting feature of the camp is the underground Umgede Hide which offers guests an opportunity to sit and watch or photograph birds and other wildlife such as elephants and lion from inside the safety of the hide.
