Honeywood Farm has been in the Moodie family since 1817 and borders the wild and wonderful Grootvadersbosch Nature Reserve up against the Langeberg Mountains. We are conveniently located along the Cape Birding route with international birding tour groups visiting us yearly to catch glimpses of the sought-after Cinnamon-breasted Warbler and Cape Eagle Owl.

Tortoise Trail Lodge is conveniently situated to explore the West Coast. Just a short drive to the West Coast National Park, as well as little coastal towns like Velddrif where one can do a photography birding boat cruise on the river, or St Helena Bay for photography boat trips from the harbour to name a few.

Gourikwa Reserve is 2455 Ha and features Albertinia Sand Fynbos, Blombos sandveld, Canca Limestone fynbos and Hartenbos Dune thicket vegetation that attracts a wide variety of birds.  The various hikes on the Reserve are very accessible and offer different lengths.
