One on Hely is a four star, 9 bed roomed B&B situated in the coastal village of Mtunzini, on the KZN North coast (East Coast of South Africa).
All our rooms are Deluxe XL King en suite with balconies and separate entrances.
6 rooms are on the first floor with views over the indigenous forest and warm Indian ocean and 3 bedrooms are on ground level, one being a Family Suite. This Family Suite has its own private lounge and an adjoining bedroom with 2 single bed,s suitable for children.
All our rooms have wifi, a smart TV, aircon, a fan , a small refrigerator, tea and coffee stations, a Nespresso machine, hairdrier, safe and working desk.
We offer a cold buffet selection at breakfast as well as a full hot cooked English breakfast which is served in the dining room which opens up at the pool and is surrounded by garden.
We have secure on site parking and can offer dinner and packed lunches on request.

The village of Mtunzini is a conservancy and in Zulu the name translates to " place in the shade" . We are fortunate to be surrounded with Coastal dune forests (Narina Trogan, Green barbet), wetland (African finfoot), mangrove swamps (mangrove kingfisher), grasslands ( black coucal is found here), Raphias (Palm nut vulture) and the sea an its sandy shores. A birders paradise with an abundance of lifers. One on Hely offers special birding packages for groups and we can arrange a Bird Life SA birding guide to suit your needs; be that of a bespoke canoe or bicycle birding tour or by vehicle and by foot, these options are all available in Mtunzini. We also offer packed breakfasts or late breakfasts, tailed to meet your need and diet (vegan/halal catered for on request). One on Hely itself has an vast indigenous garden and is frequented by the Trumpeter hornbill every morning and evening, the Brown hooded kingfisher, Purple crested turaco, African green pigeon, Purple banded, Grey, Olive, Collared and Scarlet chested sunbirds, the Palm nut vulture and even pelicans that roost in the trees lining Hely Hutchison street are all seen from the comfort of our balconies regularly.
