A ONE-session immersion in pipits and longclaws!!
The legendary pipits and gorgeous longclaws in ONE session - immerse yourself in the thirteen southern African pipits and three longclaws.
 
The pipits are very challenging. This course deals with all the southern African pipits and longclaws. We begin with the easier longclaws, and transition through the Yellow-breasted and Golden Pipits to the core of eleven potentially tricky pipits. We use GISS (JIZZ) to distinguish the sub-groups of pipits and then work though the individual species in comparative presentations.
 
Pipits and Longclaws with Aldo uses the protocols and techniques established in other Birding with Aldo courses including GISS, Top Bottom and Middle. We use polls, annotation, chat room and discussion in comparative and repetitive presentations to embed species characters. We work in small interactive groups.
 
The course is a single 90-minute session. You will receive the recording link afterwards which will allow you to review the birds for another six days. This will be very useful for these difficult birds. You will receive a low-res pdf of the session as a permanent reference.
