On the banks of the tidal Touw river, surrounded by the Garden Route National Park, Moontide is both a romantic retreat and the perfect base from which to explore the region. Choose from nine individually-decorated rooms, each with private garden entrance and their own outdoor seating area. Shaded by 400-year-old milkwood trees, with several private sun decks that overlook or float on the river, which is protected and part of the National Park. The beach a mere four-minute stroll away; the indigenous forests 10 minutes by car. So much to do and see, but sometimes all you need is a day on the deck.
