The Eastern Cape Province offers a vast range of habitats that make the birdlife here abundant. From the forests along the coast to the deserts of the Karoo in the interior. From the majestic mountain ranges of the southern Drakensberg, Amathole and Tsitsikamma Mountains to name a few, to the large estuaries of the Kei and Gamtoos Rivers that attract seabird rarities, not forgetting the important protected areas of the Mountain Zebra, Addo Elephant and Camdeboo Game Reserves.

Thank you to Anton Shultz for allowing us to use his pic of a Roseate Tern, that he took on his epic big year he did last year.
Please comment here and tell me what your top 10 list would be for the Eastern Cape.
Good list but I would ditch the Tinkerbird for the African Penguin - Algoa bay now has the largest colony of this endangered bird
