Top 10 Bird Specials in Kwa-Zulu Natal

Kwa-Zulu Natal is one of South Africa's best provinces for birding. With over 650 species recorded, this province is truly a gem. With a variety of habitats - from mountains, to savannah, to a lush mist belt forest, this province offers it all. There are also many beautiful Nature Reserves to be found here. Tyron Dall has compiled a top 10 species list for the province, and it certainly wasn't easy!

    1.) Blue Swallow

    2.) Green Barbet

    3.) Southern-Banded Snake-Eagle

    4.) Rosy-throated Longclaw

    5.) Eastern Bronze-naped Pigeon

    6.) Swamp Nightjar

    7.) Bearded Vulture

    8.) Green Malkoha

    9.) Palm-nut Vulture

    10.) Livingstone's Turaco

Do you agree with his list, or do you think he left off a bird that should be on this list? Let us know!
