Eingedi Retreat, a 530ha game farm in the Eastern Free State, invites you to enjoy a quiet getaway in creation. Our summers are warm and vibrant, and winters crisp with cosy nights and mild days. Eingedi Retreat embraces family and we endeavour to provide a family friendly environment, with numerous activities and experiences for guests of all ages to enjoy. Eingedi Retreat is a haven for children. We have 2 swimming pools, a playground, our Jolly Farmyard, domestic animals to be fed and milked, dams for fishing and paddling, walks and hikes. Our slogan, “Rivers of living water” is taken from John 7:37-38, and depicts our hearts for Eingedi Retreat, as a place of rest and refreshing. We are graded as a 2-star exclusive self-catering establishment, & are able to house our guests in 11 unique chalets - 3 of which are log cabins. They sleep from 3 -11 people. Each unit has their own bathroom and fully-equipped kitchen for self-catering purposes, as well as braai area. Towels, hot water bottles in winter, mosquito nets, complimentary tea, coffee, homemade rusks and milk are provided. Eingedi also has 10 sites with power for camping and caravanning, boasting newly built ablutions with wood fired water heater and wood stove. Eingedi boasts a 2 day Green-Flag accredited hiking trail: Day 1 - 12km and Day 2 - 6km.
